Finally got it!

After 2 yrs of saving and looking I bought this 2012 V6 this week. My father in law worked for Ford and with his Z plan it ended up being cheaper than the Honda Civic I almost bought.

After having a Civic since 1998 she saw I wasn't excited when I was about to sign for the new Civic, she said "Get what you want, just be sensible, this still has to be a family car." She is super!!!

So I got the V6 Auto that she can drive too (I know, I know) and it is incredible. It's like a vacation every time I drive it.

I took out some of my 20 something yr old friends and did doughnuts tonight. I'm giddy.

Here is a pic. You can see my old Civic in the background lurking like a jilted lover.

Thanks! The automatic does make sense here in Baltimore traveling around the beltway. My last manual car around here was a pain in beltway stop and go traffic.

Will do. I am probably going to add the fog lights next month when I get some more cash.
Currently I am checking I to installing a tablet (iPad or Galaxy Tab) where the Nav would normally be.
I can't find a dash kit that looks the way I want it.
Any thoughts?

Just got a Shaker 500 off a junkyard and put it in. Now I've got the satellite working and the GT steering wheel controls (that's why I wanted it.

I also got an extra faceplate from them and that will be held for my 7" iPad project install next year. Dunno if I can do it, but I'll try.
