Just pull down the headliner and ensure you have the pig-tails up there before hand.

David - well my Ford dealer made good on their two-year-old promise, and they've installed the lighted visors with HomeLink...for FREE! So great, thanks for your inspiration. Surprised wifey tonight for Valentines, she loves them. It was her biggest pet peeve with the car. Now, I feel pretty stupid, but for the life of me I cannot program the HomeLink. I've done this dozens of times before - in fact family and friends have me do their vehicles, so I'm pretty confident I know what I'm doing. But, apparently, I do not. I downloaded the 2012 owners guide Universal Garage Door Opener (Car2U) section. I've performed all of the steps...nada...nothing...zilch. Tried my rolling code home, and my community gate, failed on both, many attempts. Any advice?

I followed the steps in the owners manual step by step and it programmed perfect the 1st time.

I love your car, so understated. Almost sleeper like, that is if you can call a Shelby a sleeper.

I'm not even home long enough to molest the car right now. Been working over 80 hours a week for the past 3 weeks. I see the car in the garage on the way to work and when I come home.

So, after following the instructions from LearCar2U (to the letter), and repeating many times for both my home garage and my community gate, I had nothing, nada, zilch. So I called LearCar2U directly (866-572-2728, www.learcar2u.com). They were very friendly and patient. They explained that dozens of doors and gates need 'special' programming in order for it to work. Turns out that both my home garage and my community gate fall into this category. With lots of extra programming, both have finally been programmed. I hope this helps others, too.

Ps: Sorry to hi-jack thread, your silver beauty is amazing, of course!

I still have the rear "SHELBY" lettering to change out as well as add a custom rear medallion with red Cobra.

Next step is painting the deckled emblem cobra red to match the grille and side cobra emblems. I have the paint and brush, now just need the nerve to attempt this. Lots of detail!!! I also have the SHELBY lettering with red instead of black to put on.
