I'll be at Mid-Ohio later this week and all weekend crewing on a GT-3 class Mazda RX-3. Next weekend will be the last Runoffs held at Mid-O. (It's moving to Topeka Kansas next year.) Monday through Thursday will be practice and qualifying, and on Friday through Sunday, 23 races will be held to determine the national champions in each of SCCA's national classes.
Just to keep it somewhat Mustang related, our favorite cars will be represented in GT-1, which is similar to the Trans-Am series, American Sedan, which consists of Mustangs, Camaros, and Firebirds, each running a Carbed 5.0 making around 350 hp, and Touring 2, which has a variety of cars ranging from Mustangs and Fbodies to SRT-4s, CTS-Vs, STis, and 350Zs.

Well, we were hoping for a top ten, and came in 9th, not too bad for a 30 year old tub against $100K+ tube frame mini Trans Am cars. For me, though, the best race of the week was GTL. If you watch it on TV, just ignore the top 3 and watch for the Fiesta starting clear in back. He didn't stay their for long.
