Last night during the suspension install, I jacked the car up and put two jack stand on each frame rail just behind the seats. When I lowering the jack, the front came off the ground, WTF. I immediately jacked the rear back up. The stands were close to center, but definitely on the rear side. I'm calling b.s. on the factory weight distribution numbers for the 500. Unless someone else has a different theory.

All aluminum 5.4 with that new body style. The reason the 05-current handle so well. They finally put some of the weight in the rear. Also why they do so well in the 1/4. Kinda why I don't care for the 197 bodies as much. It's a lot safer car now but not as exciting. 79-04 had pretty much the same type of driving characteristics. 05-up is a different animal. They drive themselves compared to the fox or sn95/new edge.

I'll bet your back tire stays down when you jack it up here.
