Grabber Orange was not conservative at all yet it did not fared that well when it was available, neither is Grabber Blue. The demand for non conservative might have something to do with prominent buyers' age and taste. The Corvette's Velocity Yellow and Atomic Orange were not that popular either.
I doubt a Grabber Green, a Yellow Blaze, or another loud color type would be in significant demand on the GT500's color palette.

I'm really glad I signed up here, I can my motorhead excitement without people staring at me with a look of "Is this guy for real?"
My local dealers are absolutely ridiculous. They have 2012s sitting on the lot at 5k+ over sticker etc, enough said. They really didn't even want to take the time to look up colors for me. Granted, I understand they deal with people all the time and hate wasted efforts. Fortunately, 05FordGT is awesome
Last time I will vent on my local dealer, promise.
I found one about 30 miles away that said he will gladly order one for me at invoice. I told him I wasn't trying to deny him profits, just don't want to pay a ridiculous premium. He said invoice was just fine. I'm am thrilled and that sales guy is getting dinner on me somewhere nice after delivery. Just gotta chill until the order guide is available.
So yah, all those young ladies are pretty, hope she is not the one with the beard...

I Gotta ask about your post. You said he's ordering the car for you at "invoice"? Did you mean to say "MSRP"? I only ask as I can't even imagine a dealer ordering a 2013 GT500 at invoice. MSRP, absolutely as I'm doing that now, but not invoice. Just wanted to check.

He did say invoice, but we shall see. He does have 3 2012 models that are all marked down 5-6k on the showroom floor. Heck, I'd buy one of those if I was ready, but I swore I'd never finance another car. Essentially, if he would do that for the 2013 I'll be thrilled and he can call it "invoice" or whatever. He's only 30 miles away so I have to check it out when info is available. None of this is on paper so, the proof is in the pudding.
Hey Bob, I posted this in the 2013 Order guide thread where you asked, but I figured I'd post it here as well.
Its not official yet, but the colors are
Ingot Silver
Black
Performance White
Grabber Blue
Deep Impact Blue
Race Red
Red Candy Tinted Clearcoat
These are the colors that are in the CONCEPTS order system as of today.

Thanks a bunch for posting the new GT500 Color line-up, Jeff.
Now, ..... which one to choose?
I think I'm down to Deep Impact Blue, Black and Candy Red, (my wife has a Candy Red C/S GT Convertible, and it's an attractive color but we have one),......Performance White with the right trim is an 'also ran' color.
Wish I could get a look at this Deep Impact Blue in person,.....
Cheers,

Thanks, The 'real Boss' and I are heading down to Phoenix in early Ferbuary for a couple of months and will try to get a look at the Deep Impact Blue color at a Show while I'm there,.... if I figure out where and when the auto shows and meets are on.
BTW, Anybody here familiar with the auto scene in Phoenix?
I could use a few local tips!
Cheers,
Bob

I'll be getting one and will be seeing the dealer at 9am this morning to have him and his boss sign a customer order form that guarantees me I will pay nothing over sticker. The dealership is 3 hours away from where I live, and I went through the process of searching every single Ford dealer inside the state of Texas to find one that would be willing to guarantee that price. But considering the $$ I will be saving, the 2+ weeks of phone calls, emails, returned calls, etc. were worth it. Plus, if this guy doesn't put his money where his mouth is, There are several who have offered to order it for me at $500 over sticker. I absolutely refuse to pay massive markups and I'll do whatever research/waiting out that I need to. Probably will go black with red stripes, the impact blue with white stripes or the ingot silver with black stripes, or MAYBE White w/deep blue stripes (provided those combinations are available), Recaro's, PP. Don't know how I feel about the electronics package...it's going to be dated or broken in ten years, and I don't plan on selling this vehicle. I've been eying a Shelby for a long time, and the '13 is just too good to pass up. Can't wait.
By the way, a HUGE thank you goes to 05Fordgt for the help he's given me. Thanks, Jeff. I will give you a call and let you know how everything goes.

I like the spirit of kcoTiger. Texas is a mighty big state. To check out all the dealers in Texas is quite a big feat to accomplish. I agree about not wanting to wait for anything better coming in the future. I almost bought a 2007 Shelby GT500 in 2007, but my Ford dealer was not certified to sell GT500 Mustangs so I bought a 2007 GT Premium. Love the GT, but I want a GT500. My Ford dealer has since left the business so I will have to go out of town and locate a dealer who can get me a 2013 GT500.
