Watts link. Overkill?

For basically street use with an occasional track day or autocross is a watts link over kill?

Would a good set of control arms and adj pan hard bar be just fine?

Go big or go home. It just depends on what you want. Pan handles do well but watts do it better. Pan handles are a lot cheaper and watts r pricey. I know plenty of people that use pan handles with good success, but I am waiting for funds to build up to drop on a steeds watts link because I am an OCD perfectionist that has to go with the best.

So it's a not an either or situation.

That pretty much makes up my mind on that subject. Watts link will have to wait.

Driver training, followed by practice, followed by braking system upgrade to manage heat, followed by an upgrade in tires (stickier), followed by shocks w/matched springs, followed by Watts link...this is the order in which I would progress but only if my track or autocross usage increased passed "occasional" to "more often" then "competitive"

If you're going to install a bolt-in Watts link, I suggest one from here: http://www.fays2.net/fays2_watts_link_18_.html

Not sure if any changes from early S197 are drastic enough to cause fitment issues. Probably a good idea to contact the manufacturer.

No, I am not affiliated with the company in any way. I want one of these for my Mustang. Some day...
