I went to a dealership with an open allocation and ordered a 2010 Shelby (black/silver, HID, nav). guy said there is a 50/50 chance it gets built as a 2010...said if not it would be pushed to a 2011.

anyway the waiting game begins... i had figured six months before i talked to the dealer and he kinda confirmed that notion.

will be passing the time with the informative people at this forum.

yea thats kinda what i figured with the 2011... if i have to wait maybe ill be lucky and get the rumored aluminum block. either way ill be happy with this car.

and yes, black is the base

idiot dealer - after the order is in it will be a 2010 or no order at all. did you get a real order number? some dealers are so broke & max out credit terms with Ford or other lender they don't put orders in and hope one was already ordered that you will take.

 

That's the color choice I plan to order... waiting for the 2011 banks to open in late November-December... I hope.
