Anyone know what the drive train loss is for torque? Is it the same as for horsepower? I had my 2013 gt500 dynoed and it pulled 633 ftlbs with just a 93 octane tune. If you use the 10% loss that these 13s seem to have on horsepower, I come up with 703 ftlbs. A 70 ftlbs increase seems an awful lot for just a 93 octane tune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmZp...e_gdata_player

yes the same losses are on hp or torque. Did you have a baseline done? Ford severely underrated torque on this engine. So your torque figures sound correct.

No baseline done. But it seems most baselines on a Dynojet are just below 600 on both torque and horsepower pretty consistently

carbon fiber drive shaft should really cut down on the torque loss right?

Lighter, less mass.

What happened to the 15% rule of thumb? Is the 9 or 10% verified from flywheel to rear wheels?

IMO 15% was about right on older cars.
Newer 'Stangs no.
Even on your car and mine (5spd man.)10% is closer to the mark near as I can tell.
