So... I have here my status as pulled on 04/08:
The "production date" on my window sticker was 04/08 and my status shows "bucked". Seems like we're right on schedule. May also be like denlem says: 04/08 may be the date they get all the parts ready and the chassis put on the "buck" to actually be assembled the next day (04/09).
One day either way isn't killing me. Please just ship my car when it's done
P.S. Grats on the sticker WarpdSpazm. Won't be long now!

Hehehe, that's what I told the wife last night... She wasn't as happy to hear that as I was... My "financial plan" that I sold her back in December assumed a late summer/early fall arrival. This news has cut 5 months off the savings window... I'll be getting chocolates and flowers on my way home today!

The assumed "production date" came off the window sticker (04/08). The actual status ("bucked" in this case) came off the dealer's weekly report.
Besides your current status, that dealer report also shows things like your order number, VIN, color and trim, whether or not you are "change locked", schedule date (week you will go into production) and ETA Week to arrive at the dealer.

Speaking of badgering, I've got a fax of the MSO (Manufacturer Statement of Origin). Ford usually sends those to the dealership right before they load up the car on the truck/train.
Week of 04/19 is looking pretty good. My salesman says he keeps watching out the window for the truck. I told him, "That's what I like to hear!".
