The Cobra's rear is even BETTER.
I was just commenting on several posts where people mentioned they didn't care for the back of the 2010 and stating that I do like it. .....seems I'm not the only one.

Ugh, the comments... can someone go over there and set the record straight? I think I was banned there for actually defending muscle cars and not keeping with the eco-fascist line there...

I don't know what's worse, the comments or the troll-bait headline...
I love this one:

love Mustangs. They are beautiful, fast, and powerful... But, they just do not fit in the green economy that this country must lean towards. Why is Ford putting resources into this. If they want to put out a Mustang, fine put out a new Mustang. But why don't they use the money to put one out that can still go 0 - 60 in ten seconds, but is a hybrid or totally electric?
I guess my answer would be that it can go 0-60 in ten seconds.

That is a super liberal site man. Most of the people that go there probably drive a Prius. I guess they forgot about the 2010 Fusion with 43MPG for their tastes. I don't understand why these people don't get that not everyone wants a hybrid car.

crazyhorse,

I think some people need to study economics and remind themselves that we live in a free country (Thank God!). They are more than welcome to buy a hybrid or ride a bicycle if they like and that makes them feel good about their decisions, but I want my V8 Mustang and it makes me smile every time I drive it!

I posted with a link to the 2010 Fusion Hybrid for the Prius set that visits the site. I'm sure the 43MPG in a normal looking sedan should work for them.

Do me a favor and light it up the next time you're near a Prius at a light.

There is no need. Just raving to 4K rpms and giving an inquiring nod does the job. Their look of anger and disgust is... well, priceless.

No? The Ford Racing axlebacks might disagree with you, specially if they notice the 'Keep It Green' bumper stickers.

You guys think 07-09 GT500 prices are going to tank after this thing comes out? I have noticed that they are already starting to drop off quickly, but I think car is a big improvement over the previous car. Compared to the GT and base model this one has gotten a lot of attention. I'd prefer an 10' but if an 09' can be had on the cheap I may go that route......what do you guys think???

The first batch will likely have ADMs as every new Mustang which comes out. The difference from 2007 is the '10 GT500 is not the only game in town, among other factors. I doubt prices will stay high as long as the '07s did.

I've been looking for a 09 GT500 and love the new 2010. I'd be happy with either. The thing is that 2010 isn't going to be near 09 prices for some time. I guess it's all about what you'd be happy with and how long you want to wait.

With the Camaro SS and Challenger SRT8 the demand for Shelby's should be less. I know a lot of Chevy and Mopar guys who jumped to the Mustang that plan on going back from their brands new rides.

Those new wheels are very very nice. I'm not sure if I dig the lower air intake being bigger than the top, I'll have to see it in person just like a regular GT. Some of the engineering improvements seem nice though.

They had to make it bigger to suck the Priuses up that were clogging our precious highways.

Brand loyalty always plays in. The Challenge SRT8 and the introduction of the Camaro SS will definately help the Mustang enthusiasts.

On the other hand, I've seen the Challenger SRT8. It's pretty nice but it is not in the same league as the '07 - '09 GT500s, much less the '10 GT500's.
