Spoiler is ugly and can NOT be deleted when you order the car. Order banks don't offer the 13D "spoiler delete" as an option for the GT/CS, and if you manually enter the code anyway, it just kicks it out. This is the same pedestal spoiler that was optional on 2010's, and I'm guessing Ford is trying to figure out a way to unload all the unwanted ones from 2010 that didn't get ordered - LOL.

They should put them on the V6's as a Pony package or something.

I say enough with all the retro special editions. The old Boss Mustangs are my all time favorite Mustangs. I would love for one of the creative types at Ford to come up with the Boss/Mach for this new decade, yet don't call it a Boss or Mach. Come up with something new and timely, to carry the Mustang forward. Will the new Larry Shinoda please step up.

Too bad it doesn't have the spoiler delete like the prior model did. How about the rear view camera with the electronics package. Now that spoiler would look great on the car, the more aggressive spoiler with the more aggresive front valence.

For the life of me I can't figure out the silver grill when all of the highlights on the car are black? The grill should match I would bet money that is the exact same grill and front fascia from the new GT-350. Here the silver grill and Pony on the side perfectly reflect the heritage of the 1966 Shelby model. It simply doesn't work on the CS. A pair of fogs or blacked out grill would have been far more appropriate.

My guess would be they didn't sell enough of these parts (grille, pedestal spoiler, etc.) on the 2010 models so they just decided to put them together in a "california special" package so they would get sold.

Do we know if the grill and spoiler are standard or dealer installed?

I'd imagine they are standard. I'd expect the car on show to be a "standard" GT/CS

I input a GT/CS in to the 2011 order banks and the spoiler/scoops are being done after the car leaves the factory at another facility, just like last year.

Can the rear camera be added to this as an option? This would fix the spoiler issue.

No, all '11 GT/CS's are coming with the ugly pedastal spoiler.

Why not? That's how the original '68 California Specials came about, built at the San Jose plant from left-over Shelby bits.

The rear spoiler is HIDEOUS I would be replacing it first. I really like the GT350 spoiler and I hope CDC is working on pushing out the Shaker kit for the new 5.0 Coyote motor. And the thing I wish Ford had a choice for on the CS is a stripe color option. But I'll still be buying one but not till 2012 model year
