Well you learn something new every day..... Sorry DOO DOO I mean Paul... must be rough being called DOO DOO ..... I couldnt imagine DOO DOO... I am sorry DOO DOO for continually calling you DOO DOO I dont mean to DOO DOO it just kind a comes out like DOO DOO. Ok I am really bored...sorry
You have a potty mouth!
I know...its an addiction... (Jarrod Stands up) Hi my name is Jarrod and I am a potty mouth
I've been thinking about switching out my front speakers, not the subs. Should I go with 6X9s or do a component set? How hard is an amp to hook up? I'd like to run more power to the rears and the subs...
I would bet components would work great jeff.
I get some Kracos or a set of Sparkomatics.
Why not some Snargletooth jammers for the mids??
Yeah why not!
I like the way you think David...lets get to work on jeffs car.... did you get the invisible subs for jeffs car?? dont forget to get payment for them.... He he complains that he cant see them... explain how invisible speakers are better than visible ones
Ok, seriously...I am thinking about buying an amp because I want to run a little more power to the rears, the doors, and the door subs. What kind of amp would I need? Would I need a 4 channel? A 2 channel? I can figure out the watts but it's been a LONG time since I did one of these.

Go to Modularfords.com in the audio threads... I posted there to find out about my setup and the guys there are very helpful. I dont know that much about stereo setups so I had to ask a lot of Questions over there.
You may need either a 4 channel or 6 channel amp
I'd look into a Kraco 8.1 Channel. If you have the $$ it's the way to go. From what I read... it specs out about the top.
Why do you prefer an 8.1?..... it will start to flux with too many frequencies and you could end up with the voicecoil lathing and causing the copper to melt on the prongs and also not to mention the echo...GOD the echo. I would go with something in the 7s
Read up on it... They address it in a pretty unique way.
I'll go with you on this one... as I am just learning this crap. the 8.1 will most likely work.
Very funny...why not just install a flux capacitor and call it quits???
