Mustang AUDIO performance thread
Oh come on...... The exhaust swap is simple. And you can be loud and nasty! My exhaust scares people. I am so surprised that we didn't attract the attention of Johnie Law while we were all revving it up in the small towns during the cruise!
I'm pretty sure the club would replace the exhaust for you
"just because we can"
and the curiousity of what it will sound like haha I say an Off-Road H-Pipe!! The H is a little less Raspy and more of a muscle sound... the X is more Raspy like mine but does add a few extra ponies...not enough to notice though.... plus the midpipe is super cheap smile mod... meaning once you do it...its a continual smile everyday
hmm I just thought of something though David.... he would need a tune after the install do bypass the rear o2 sensors??? He has the Roush tune....?
Maybe so Maybe not. Mine wasn't throwing on the idiot light after the swap. Some do some don't. But a custom tune wouldn't hurt either way. I know If I was with blower and canned tune I would do it.
Well his blower is roush and tuned conservitive with the Roush tune. Any modification to it will void the roush warranty. But again...warranty whats that haha???
Duuuuuude. T-Bone and I were rolling. That was too funny.
I rolled once
I thought that was a dream?!?!? That was real??? WOW!
Oh yeah thats right Jarrod. That just happened!
ShakeNbake!! that never gets old
I can't get enough!
Ok finally got some pics... although most of you have have already seen it.

Still retain all of my trunk space...and some good tunes

I gotta say I like the deep down old school rumble that the H-pipe puts out. Everything else just sounds Cheeto to me.
I need to hide the wires better
? wierdo's!
Yes, you do. Here's how. Take piece of 1/2in MDF or similar and carpet it with similar carpet to your trunk. The wood should be just a little bit bigger than your amp, all the way aournd, maybe 2". Mount the amp to the board, then drill holes through it for you to pass the wires through, then mount the board to the seatback. All your wires will come out of the amp, then go directly behind the board so you can not see them.
