We really need to do it in Open Water. AKA... the lake. Dive Tulsa doesn't rent gear. You can borrow it if you are going for a cert. But since this a refamilar, you'll have to rent it.

Coming up, I'm doing another re-familiarization for another in a couple to few weeks, you could tag along.

Why do you need to do it so quick? Or do you just want to?

Since we're sponsored by BHF... Probably not a good idea....

As long as our sponsor is loyal to us, Which there are! I'll be loyal to them.

I just want to have it. There is no rush. I figure do it in the summer while it's still warm water, or warmer water at any rate. Where can I rent gear and when are you going to do that other refamiliarization?

I agree and I felt bad when BH saw my Joe Cooper license plate.... If I did go it would be in the Toyota..The Roush would stay in the garage!!! No sense in promoting a competitor's business especially when they have not honored all agreements for me even if I bought my car there!!!

I checked and I used the Permatex High Strength locktite that is good to 300+ degrees. It says it can be used on block nuts and bolts. Well, the best I can do is hope it holds. The problem is that the stud is a particular thread pattern and it is ultra hard to match a nut to the stud, let alone a self locking nut.

on one hand lock washers are over rated and on the other hand if your going to use one make sure its hardened.
