Buenos Dias Senior Glen!
blues the weak stuff.... red would have been my choice
, thats BOB red. On a serious note (is there such a thing?) Any kind of loctite should be fine. Heck if David can use blue on his driveshaft, then it must be fine

Actually, brand name locktite blue is the strongest. Off brand locktite the strongest is red. You have it backwards Jarrod...
I'm just going off of what David said... so point your rebutle to him.
David...any comments
Oh yea... my chassi is stronger than your chassi JEFF.... I WIN
Blue is this best...
Good to see you didn't drown or break any more bones Paul!
Yep. Great weekend. I'm offically a professional Diver now. Finished up the last of my DM class. And the boy got his Advance Cert! He's such a stud. Productive weekend!

purple or #222
is a low strength thread locker designed for aluminum
can be removed with out heat
Blue or # 242 243
are all purpose thread lockers they are good for any assembly that will need to be removed for maintance purposes. can be removed with out heat.
red permanent
all red loctite products are permanent. They are used any where you don't expect to dissemble on a regular basis.
The red threadlockers must be heated to be removed. #262 is standard strength #277 is used for large diameters #271 is high strength #272 is for high temp assemblies
If they come loose again I would use the red 272.
green removable #290
is designed for application after assembly. The thin liquid wicks around the threads of assemblies. Must be heated to be removed.
yellow #641
be very carefull of 641 or sleve retainer. It is called this for a good reason. It is ment to be used on very worn components. Assemblies you never want to mess with again. This solution must be heated to a very high temp to be removed.
my 2 cents on loctite .... not copy and pasted either

So when areyou going t do my refresher Paul? After tomorrow, I have 20 days before school starts again...
Wow, Glenn. You are a loctite guru. I used the red of the offbrand which according to the package says it is the strongest. If it comes off, I am just going to weld the **** thing.
I have lungs, do they count as gear? Can't I just rent the gear from your guys? Do you have a night this week we could do it?
Jarrod... let's get you and Cassie sign up.
