My son & I will be there on Saturday. Christy has a girls night planned with her sisters. I'm trying pretty hard to talk her out of her car so that I can race. I'll be there either way..

hey guy Newbie here. I ran into you guys last year at the track towards the end of the season. My girl was stock then but she isn't now. Anyhow I have a BBK CAI Pypes O/R x pipe and Pypes mid muffler cat back. The O/R is throwing a CE and I was wondering is there anyway around getting MIL eliminators or a tune. I will be out there Saturday for test and tune. I'll be looking for you guys.

Hey outlaw...glad you could make it to the site. To answer your question I believe the only 2 ways of doing are to either get a Hand held tuner (XCAL for example) and turn off the rear O2 sensors OR purchase MIL Eliminators (which dont always work)..... I can turn off your check engine light and clear your codes with my Tuner, but it will just pop on again after a day or so. The reason is that your rear O2s are not sending the correct signals due to you not having Catylitic converters anymore....I would definitely get a tune...after modding its actually safer than if you didnt get a tune. Running lean can cause detination which can lead to engine failure.

Are you against a tune? I would think with the added air flow of the BBK CAI and exhaust you would want to take advantage of that with a tune. Otherwise you run the risk of going lean (depending on the size of the CAI of course).

We will all absolutely be out at the track on Saturday...definitely looking forward to meeting you. We have a ton of events and cruises planned for the year...we would be glad to have you.

Yep. A tuner and tunes is the best way to go. It's still my best mod!

Hope to see you at the track!

Hey Outlaw is your name Sam? I think I remember you. Silver mustang?

I also agree on the tune. Bamachips or Brenspeed would be my first choice for a tune and tuner. You could try the MIL eliminators if money is tight it might work ok.
I look forward to seeing you at the track.
