Bmmc Drag Racing
wow dad, i noticed you had a 1.8 60'. you must have really picked it up on the top end.jarrod also had a 1.8 60'... hmm. now just think if you get that down to a 1.6 60'.
It means I need to learn to shift faster...and get a driveshaft
you need to try powershifting. you shouldnt be worried about it, just make sure you shift hard and fast! not that i have any experiance, but watching my dad do it, and learning about it, it shouldnt be that consequencing... =]
I will practice powershifting and try and do it next year.
Try Jerbear shifting first. It will only cost you .2 in ET
(walter laugh)
Was that walter? ..........He scares the crap out of me!
Nothing compares to a walter fart!!
Congrats to Jarrod on a new best MPH of 107 and change. And an entire evening without one single 13 second pass. All runs were in the solid 12 second range.
I had a new personal best of 12.61 @ 108.15 MPH WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!!

Good times this year racing and learning. Finished of the year on a high note. Get ready, next year will be here soon and we will be after quicker times and lower et's.!

I can see the wheels turning on what to do next to get those impressive times even lower.
Indeed. Next up are CMCV deletes and new tune, Mezier water pump, Long tube headers, Skinny front runners, Relocation brackets, upper third link. I think these mods will net very low 12 second times perhaps the coveted 11 second run??
that would be totally UH_MAZE_ING
You two continue to amaze me with the awesome times at the track! Do all the mods above Dave and you will definitely be in the high 11s. Now we just need to get Paul's problem figured out. He should have Kurtis look at it. BTW, I checked with SCT and Kurtis is the only Advanced Trained SCT Dealer in this part of the state. Greg is just beginner trained and he hasn't even purchased the software. I'm pretty sure Kurtis could fix Paul's problem then he could be running in the 12s too. Good job guys and keep it up. ARe they running on December 1?
thats what there website says, but it says weather permitting, sooo jus hope for good weather i guess... if not then, well yesterday would be the last race?.
Keep in mind that the BHF toy drive is on the 1st.
Oh yeah, I hope they don't mind me driving a yellow Splash pickup. Car got pushed back a week due to Liberty Gears. We just found out they need my factory 10 spline input shaft so they can turn it into a 26 spline input shaft. It gets mailed Monday and will take 2 weeks to get back from Liberty. A bed means more toys though...:-)
Driveshaft, longtube headers, E waterpump, 3rd link, panhard bar, BMR K-member, torque limiters, sub frames, and a naked tiki girl on the dash that bobbles for me in the future
Oh and I too would love to find some skinnies for the front... but where... and why have they not made any...it just doesnt make sense
