Had a small local meet at a nice old country pub yesterday. Great food, great company, great cars. Pity the weather forcast was so rubbish as a few people cancelled at the last minute.

No pics of the food, but it was tasty. Most English pubs offer a very mixed menu from traditional roasts (beef/chicken/lamb etc) to curries, fish & chips or bangers and mash (sausages and mashed potato).

I had the gammon, egg and chips, sorry fries. Very nice it was too.

The Mach 1 is actually a bit of a celebrity in the UK. Not sure if you guys have seen a comedy show called Saxondale? It stars Steve Coogan as an ageing ex-rodie and the Mach 1 is his ride in the show. In "real life" she's owned by a lovely lady called Shelley and the car is named Daisy.
