Just had the tune finally optimized for the heads and cams, as well as for the altitude. The results are in SAE. A DynoJet with the latest software read 6 HP and 3 Tq off from the SuperFlow.

From now on, I'll be doing all my tuning on the SuperFlow. I feel better knowing that it implies load to simulate road driving conditions. I'd hate to have zero detonation on the dyno then turn around and get det on the road.

Anyways, here are the results @ 6600rpm:

Here is the DynoJet run @ 6300rpm. Pretty **** close. Probably would've been even closer if I had run it up to 6600rpm.

Wow, you GT guys have some sweet numbers. I'm pretty much at the limit of what my stock short block will do. I may try a small shot of nitrous to push me over 500 RWHP, just to see if it'll do it. Other than that, my focus is now the track.

I'm putting on double-adjustable UCAs, rear sway bar, anti-squat brackets, k-member brace w/engine torque limiters, double-adjustable aluminum panhard bar, T/A girdle, 7.5" axle brace, etc...

I want to see what the stock 4.0L and stock 7.5" do before they explode. :)

There should be a Dyno Queen chart like they have for the 1/4mile runs.

Congrats. I'm starting the next stage of craziness soon. Nitrous is on order. If this doesn't blow the engine, I don't know what will. ;)

Thanks. We'll see what happens. I'm definitely not gonna install it until I finish installing all the suspension stuff sitting in my garage. :)

Good #'s! Question though; to get 302.4rwhp / 332.5rwtq are the only mods you had the JLT Cai & SCT Tune?

yup.. and i'm running 98 Octane fuel in Dubai, which is equivalent to 94 Octane in the states.
The Dyno Dynamics numbers are generally higher than others by a few rwhp.

PIKE2244 4/23/07 11:47 AM

Do you have any idea by how many rwhp it deviates?

well my baseline (272rwhp)wasn't so off compared to other baselines i've seen.
usually ranging around 260-265rwhp
so it's about 10-15rwhp higher than a dynojet
