OMG:jaw:
Haven't seen J.R. in a while.
Is that the same yellow car you've been testing on for a while?
Congrats on not breaking it yet.:nice:
Don't you have to build the internals a little more to run it with that kind of HP?

You got 302/322 at the wheels with just a CAI and tune?

I sure did with a custom tune. I have Flowmaster AT's, but I don't really count them as a performance mod.

mustangfan123 6/23/07 01:44 PM

Well one reason Donna's numbers were high is because 13% humidity, the other is they were uncorrected.

Well not uncorrected, STD (standard) correction not SAE.
My car showed about 10hp increase over SAE with STD, about 15hp+ uncorrected.

Looks a little leaner than Doug's tune (He needs to stay on the safe side without a dyno).
The dyno tuner appears to have dialed it in with A/F of 13 almost thru the whole run.
Very nice.:nice:

mustangfan123 6/23/07 05:24 PM

Anyway, as posted earlier, I got 293rwhp with CAI, Custom DynoTune, Pullies, and CMDP's in probably 80+ percent humidity and 85-90+ temperature. I am shocked how low my numbers are STD (which shows higher than SAE) even though it was high humidity weather. Maybe a 70% difference of humidity is why someone else with intake, tune, and pullies got 293rwhp SAE in 13% humidity. Oh well, I will try to get back on the dyno this fall when its cooler. :)

Don't forget the 3.73 gears too and I think the 18"wheels are a little heavier.
Too many factors.:dunno: The important thing is the improvement over stock.:nice:

mustangfan123 6/23/07 09:29 PM

Yeah I know there is alot of factors, but I am hoping for 298rwhp(350 at the crank) in cooler weather. I don't think 18" wheels and 3.73's would make a dramatic difference. I think the only huge factor is the high humidity.

Thanks and yes - we have a built short block in the car. I would not go over 9psi on a stock motor. lots of guys do but I have not seen any that live when driven very hard
