My cars warranty runs out in 2 weeks and i have been having several tsbs performed - so far fuel pump, parking brake, etc. This weekend I had the cables replaced in the top that banged and created rattles on each bump - the tsb said that the job should take 1.5 hours so i went in saturday morning at 6:30 and waited - it took them until 12 noon to complete the job - the service manager said that the job was much harder than the tsb and also it was the first one they had done - (for what it is worth there is no more banging) - jus curious if anyone else has had this job done and if it took this long -- also, if you have the clanging i recommend you get this done.

 

Mine took the tech 3 hours. It would have been longer but I had the interior out for dynamat install, so the tech didn't have to spend time removing/installing the interior. The fix was sooooo worth the wait. Unfortunately, the tech didn't get the top adjusted properly (it sagged in the back), so I had to squeeze back in there and readjust the thing.

 

Sorry, I missed this thread. I had my TSB fix done and I love it. Completely eliminated the "rustle" or shake sound going over railway crossings, etc.

All 2005-2007 Mustangs built before December 1, 2006.
