Question Print correction in the service manual?

Can someone verify a print correction in the service manual for the climate control system 412-00-15? I'm trying to check the defrost actuator feedback pot total resistance in pinpoint test B2. It states the resistance should be between 5,000 and 6,000 ohms. I'm getting 10,640 ohms.

Went to a dealer to ask about it and they said it's been updated to 11,000 ohms.

Am I be fed a line here or is it true? I went to my local parts store and used their 2007 version Mitchell On-Demand and it states 5,000 to 6,000 ohms as does my older manual. The thing that gets me is all 3 actuators, yes I've isolated them, are reading too high. I tested an actuator from a Sterling truck at work that uses Ford heating parts and it read within the 5,000 to 6,000 ohm range. Now this is making it really frustrating.
