passenger vent buzz?
im driving about 50-60 mph in 5th gear and if i give it throttle or go up a incline i hear a buzz coming from the passenger side...... ive narrowed it down to the vent in that area only.......its a BRAND NEW 08 gt i bought it new and just started to do this.....really annoying, anyone else got this buzz?

The rattle could be a couple of different things... none of which will actually be a problem in the vent itself. In my case, it turned out to be the plastic panels (both driver and passenger side) that snap into the ends of the dash (the noise seems to come from the vent but actually comes from between the end of the dash and the door)... a little bit of velcro and silicone lube took care of it. The rattles database thread at the top of this section also mentions a couple of other problems/fixes that might help.

Also investigate the small plastic panels behind the door handles--rattles from these sound like they come from the air vents.

There is a lengthy fix for a pillar rattle in the Rattles Database thread.
Also check the plastic panel behind the door latch, as well as the plastic panel on the door behind the hand-pull.
