Passenger Seat Headrest Rattle/Squeak

Since the tech forum has vanished i'm not where to post this, so i'll just post it here.

Latest issue: When cold passenger seat headrest seems to be rattling. I can push on the side of the headrest and it will squeak/rattle, when driving down the road it does this constantly almost, placing my hand on the head rest stops it. Anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks.

I just noticed something like that but haven't had a chance to figure out where it is coming from. I'll report back on my findings.

I don't remember having that issue with my other headrests, but I always kept them in the down position.

But, I do have a high pitched squeak from the top when it is in the down position. Oh well, I guess I should just turn the radio up louder.

I guess that is why Ford put the Shaker 500/1000's in the car.....gets rid all of the squeaks and clunks. LOL

I keep it in the down position also, but it still does it. Its almost like the guide pin on the headrest is hitting something inside the seat.

Turn it up loud enough, it probably creates new ones.

My 2006 GT Passenger seat rattles at Highway Speed

Ive tried the headrest down, it helped sometimes. I also wedged a stack of Dunkin Donuts napkins between the seat and center console, that help for a little while.

Is there a fix that isnt a "Rube Goldberg" solution?
