I just noticed on my '07 GT/CS that the paint is chipping off from the reat GT center emblem (the one that looks like the old gas filler) There is a piece of the black part that has come off. Is this covered under the warranty even if I purchased this used form a Jeep dealer? I only have 9k miles on it. Or is there a way to fix it without a replacement part from the dealer?

I have heard/seen this happen with a few people. Best thing would be to call the dealer and see what they say. I think some other people have removed the black all together. Orrr just bought a different one.

Regarding the warranty, your warranty is through Ford and goes with your car, no matter who owns it or where you purchased it. Should be covered under warranty I would think.
