Low Oil Pressure

Hey Guys need a little help, my 07 GT/CS with 3k miles is giving me a low oil pressure warning at start up and it does not matter if its cold or warm starts. I have not been able to find a pattern of when its going to do it, and the shop its telling me there is nothing wrong. Has any one else experienced this.

Sounds to me like a problem with either the cluster or the oil pressure sender switch. The gauge is a dummy gauge, as long as there's at least 6 psi or so of pressure, it will read normal and not give you any warnings. If the switch is not operating correctly, it could give an intermittent warning. Make sure you don't hear any kind of knocking or ticking on startup. It's most likely an electrical issue though.

I've twice had bad signals from the oil sending unit to the gauge (not in current Stang). Nevertheless, get it looked at ASAP, b/c I've known others who have had the engine go b/c of insufficient pressure.
