Getting the Hesitation after long cruise TSB fixed
That's an issue with TSB, some dealer don't like the fact that they have not troubleshooted the problem themselves as they are affraid the people will bring their car in wanting them to change parts on TSB's when they don't have a problem with their car !
Also I think as per Ford instruction they have to validate that customer complaints are related to a specific TSB and confirm the findings.

Ok well they replaced the runner actuators or whatever and they called and said the car was done. Well I picked up the car and signed all the paper work to leave and got in the car and the light was still on. So I tried turning it off and back on again and it was still lit, so after about 30 minutes of waiting for them to read the code, they told me I'd have to bring it back cause apparently it still wasn't fixed. I read the code when I finally got home with my reader and was surprised that I didn't get the other 2 codes but I got a p2015 this time. Starting to get real olddddddddd. I'm gonna look up the code now and see what it says.....stay tuned.

Couldn't find the list of DTCs and their meanings again, I didn't save the PDF. I do however know that it is also on the same TSB as the p2004-p2008 codes. I havent had a chance to try and find that page again to say what exacly it is. (work is busy today)
You bet they lied to you ! when I took my 06 in for this TSB 06-9-9. the service Manager showed me on his computer as soon as he typed my problem in ! Ford said any costumer complaining of this problem fix ASP no questions asked!!
Getting mine fixed tomorrow.Told the technician the problem ,he checked ford's computer, printed out the tsb, ordered the parts. No nonsense! Sounds like there must be some pretty useless service departments out there.
Now I don't have interstates where I live but when I traveled through Mn. last summer I had the air problem arise. When I got back home, I took the car in for the problem and they couldn't find it for 2 days. They suggested I drive it until the problem comes back. I then told them of a TSB I found on the Internet relating to the problem and left the car with them one more night. Mysteriously, they reported to me, the next day the car reacted to my problem and they changed out the fuel pump. Problem solved.
So I found out the p2015 code has something to do with the actuator solonoid or whatever. I finally got a chance to taake the car to the shop and dropped it off yesterday and they called me today and told me they ordered an entire intake manifold..
Oh yeah I forgot to update.
I picked up my car on friday after they replaced the manifold. Well I got about 60 feet from the dealership and I thought it seemed as sluggish as it was b4. I looked down and the **** light on yet again
. Needless to say I am not a happy camper and I called and told em I wanted a free rental and they need to get it fixed. So its currently back in the shop and I'm driving a newer saturn

Thats one of the reasons I haven't got it fixed yet. It only does it on long trips.
Got mine fixed today; updated fuel pump and sender unit. I experienced this problem a couple of times; however it was Brent at Brenspeed that insisted I get the pump & sender replaced before they install my blower later this month; for those of you with blowers or turbos that are running the factory pump with an add-on such as a Kenne Bell BoostAPump, you'd better get the faulty pump replaced asap.
I wonder if this whole deal is the "hesitation" that everyone was initially talkin' about 2 years ago. .... where the so called solution was to try to recalibrate the gas pedal....
Mine started out with the hesitation after a long cruise, but has since become an almost all the time thing. Sometimes when I stand on the gas I'll get up and go right away, other times I don't accellerate as fast. I can completely understand it if it's caused by the pump cavitating.
Anyways, my biggest problem is getting my car to the dealer and getting the pump swapped out. I know it's a half hour job, but I haven't found a dealer that is helpful in the least with the service issues.... and I even wound up leaving the car for 2 days to get the differential checked out, and nothing had been done, and they refused to do anything beyond a test drive where the service writer couldn't hear what I was describing.... So I'm considering just buying an aftermarket pump and installing it myself.
Mine's getting to the point where I have to slip the clutch pretty bad to get it off the line just because it is so sluggish to respond to fuel... sometimes it does just fine, so with muscle memory, I give it that much gas and that much clutch, and it's not enough of either.... so I wind up boggin' down and buckin' like it's my first time out.... I know I've heard other people describe that same problem in one way or another... as well as them saying that bucking issue was resolved by the new pump.

Craps Out?
I've had what I think is this fuel pump issue happen at least 5 times over the past year. I've been reluctant to bring it in to be checked because I'm afraid they'll say it's related to my custom tune, CAI, or long tube headers. I do not want to return it back to stock before going to the dealer. My car has gone into the failsafe mode just cruising down the highway at a constant speed and then trying to accelerate suddenly. It's very dangerous to say the least because I have to put it in nuetral and restart while driving. Can anyone specify exactly what and how many different codes are thrown due to the defective fuel pump TSB? Also, should I return to stock tune prior to bringing the car in for service even though the intake and exhaust mods remain? I know it will be running wayto lean. Even though K&N says a tune is not necessary with their CAI the car runs like it's starving for fuel when returned to stock tune.
I'm getting mine out this weekend and I experienced it several times last year. Especially going to Alabama last fall. I am going to the Mustang Oklahoma show in April and would love it if I wouldn't do it. Where do I find the TSB?
Never mind, I just found it.

Where To Find TSB
It can be found here. It's the second one from the bottom of the list.
