Gas tank slow to fill

Did anyone every find a solution to the infamous slow to fill issue with the 2005-early 2006 mustangs. I have a 2007 GT that’s doing it, weird I know but I bought it used with no history last year, and I’ve been dealing with this problem ever since I got the car, I’ve combed through forums about how to resolve the issue and it’s lead nowhere some say replace evap canister, some say take out all the right sides vents and lines and clean them, some say there’s no fixing it. But most of those threads I was reading were from 2008 so in the 13 years has anyone figured out the actual fix ?

Thanks, I tried THE METHOD, it worked well but I’m wondering if the 08-09 fuel filler hose will fit and fix the issue, I’m going to give that a shot and We’ll see if it’s a permanent fix

When I had my first S197 "05" GT, it had the very same issue. Ford fixed it under warranty and TSB by replacing the evap canister and vents. My current "06" GT has never had that issue. Until Ford replaced them on the "05" turning the nozzle upside down usually worked, so you might want to consider trying that out, at least as a temporary solution Meanwhile, welcome aboard

Correction! Ford replaced the entire fuel tank which included the revised evap canister and vents under the TSB on my previous "05" GT which was covered under ESP warranty back in 2010-11.

Here's image links for all TSB revisions below in pdf format.

I had to do this during one trip to the northeast a few years back. It seemed I could not get gas in the tank, especially at NY and NJ gas stations. Upside down filling worked every time. An attendant in NJ said it was common there on the turnpike. During all my road trips in the US/ Canada I have rarely encountered it. Strange.

Very strange indeed lol. It's really weird how you only encountered the gas fill up issues during your one trip to the northeast a few years ago as you mentioned, but during all your other road trips in the US/Canada you rarely encountered it. You would think if the evap canister/vents were the reason for causing the fuel fill up issues, it would happen no matter what gas station or area that it's in
