THAT's a 2007? Looks brand new! You scored my friend.

The former owner must have taken very good care of her. Glad to see you found a beauty! No more "money pit" now, right?

Thanks!! Yeah, it is actually an '06. But, yeah the owner's before me were pretty good to it. There are dents in the passenger door, lots of chips in the hood...and the interior was pretty dirty and the interior door panels were not taken care of...but I'm going to refurbish them as best I can.

One question I hope you guys can shed some light on is, with the SCTX3 Tuner I had with Whinnie. Is it junk now that I don't have the car anymore? Or, can I use it to plug into my new red '06 V6? I am not going to get a CAI, as I don't believe they actually do anything other than look cool and add some sound. But, I would like to program the new car to run on Mid grade or premium. Any thoughts?

If you returned the old car to it's stock tune, then it's unlocked and can be locked to a different car. Otherwise you'll need to send it to SCT and they can unlock for a fee, which is less than buying a new one.

You'd need a new tune anyway... tunes are customized by the year, axle code, engine displacement, etc. I remember when I ordered my tune there were a whole bunch of variables Doug Studdard needed to get it done.

Way back when... LOL...

Ok cool. Thanks guys! I actually chatted with one of the AM customer service guys last night and he said the same thing. I am questioning my need to spend that money if I don't plan to do any real performance mods beyond true dual exhaust, K&N drop in filter... I will switch to running midgrade and or premium fuel on my next fill up.
