I have a rattle from the driver's side dashboard. I think I've localized it to the black plastic piece nearest to the windshield where the defroster vents are located.
On other cars I've owned there has been either a foam strip or black rubber wedges placed between this piece and the windshield. Could someone check and see if their GT has any foam or wedges? I think I can solve this by putting some foam in the space between the plastic and the windshield. Noise goes away when its hot and the plastic expands. The dash sure does creak with temperature changes.

I did the same thing on my passenger's side, i got some foam brushes from target. ripped off the foam and placed it between the dash and the pillar. wedged in there really well. No more rattle. Just percuss the front of the dashboard while putting in the foam and see if the rattling stops with the faom.
Another rattle was being caused by wires rattling against the metal hinge of the glove box. I opened the glovebox completely until it was hanging down, and wrapped a small towel around this metal part to isolate it from the rattling wires. that solved that problem.

I have a "vibration" rattle on my passenger side...Its driving me crazy. Its behind the panel just above the glovebox. If I put pressure on the panel the rattle goes away. Dealer here I come....

You don't need to go to the dealer, just wedge some black foam between the dashboard and the pillar the rattle goes away. Easy 5 minute fix, and you don't ened up getting your dashboard taken apart and a slew of other rattles to follow.

 

Welcome to the rattle club. A lot of people have posted about the same problem. The service center was having trouble finding it so I pressed firmly on the dash and it hasn't made a peep in a week. I'm pretty sure it will return but for now I have my sanity back.

i had that rattle and it actually ended up not being the dash but the pillar that goes from the dash to the roof. the plastic wasnt snapped down all the way. all i did was press it into place and you could hear it snap in. yay! no more rattle.

 

Could you post a pic of exactly where you placed the foam?

I have the same rattle but haven't located the proper place to insert the foam yet (tired a couple of places, but the rattle didn't go away).

My rattle may be the glove box issue you had (the rattle goes away when the glove box is opened), so I'll try that as well.

dealer added a bit of insulation(foam) to dash and rattle went away.

After 13 years you'll become an expert and finding those little buggers

 

i'll post pics tomorrow its an easy do it yourself fix.

If you still have a rattle try wrapping a small towel around the glovebox hinge to isolate it from wires that may be vibrating against the metal

Now the only sound i hear in the car is the motor
