Cold start, low rpm

This has happened a few times since i've gotten the car, but only when its cold out, and generally only when I leave it outside of the garage(therefore making it colder). It also ONLY happens on first start up in the morning. I'll put the key in the On position, let it ding, then i'll start it up. Basically, as easy as I can explain, the car stutters and hits about 250-400rpm's for a few seconds, then revs up to the normal 1,500rpm's, down to 1,000, then down to the normal "warm" idle of 750 after a few minutes. Also while at the low rpm's, there is no response to throttle.

Also, if I don't let the car sit and warm up until it hits the normal idle rpm's, it feels laggy on initial drive. It'll bog down a bit and feel like it has some loss of power. Keep in mind, getting to that normal idle takes several minutes, depending on how cold it is so being that its still very close to factory specs, it shouldn't need a 5-10 minute warm up to drive properly.

Anyone?

Nope not Ferris.

But.... clean the throttle body and MAF?

Found this. Should apply to S197? (at least conceptually)

You know, I thought it was the tb as well. I'll have to try it out when I get some time one of these days. I guess the car knew I was looking for answers since it stopped doing it again.
