chatter sound at very low speeds.

When pulling in driveway very slow , I hear what sounds like a chatter coming from the car. What is this sound?? Is it bad?? Can it be fixed or is it normal??

I think I hear the same thing. Sometimes a hear it when passing close to cars(with my windows down). I "think" the mod engine is just noisy? And Today I think I heard something rattle(lose) when I hit the driveway and went up. Hmm.

The springs in the clutch tend to chatter in certain low rpm/high-load conditions... Normal.

What conditions, and how are you sure this is normal?

Low RPM/High load conditions
Such as pulling into a driveway...
Especially if you bog the engine a bit..
bogging can cause vibrations if RPMs drop below idle... which cause said springs to chatter...

Thanks - I was asking for what you defined as "low RPM/high load conditions", even though my phraseology wasn't clear

I can't tell whats nosier, the 4.6 or the 3650, but they definitely make some noise Even when you turn it off the tranny makes a little chatter as the last sound you hear as if it was saying '****it, what the heck are you doing i was busy doing that'
