Well, we got bad news on Friday. Deb went in for a CT scan on Thurs. for her abdoman area to find out why it looked like it was swelling. The doctor called back late Friday afternoon and told us that there were more nodules & fluid in her pelvic area and the cancer was progressing. The only thing we can hope for now is that these 2 chemo drugs they have her on now do the trick. They are not specifically for her type of cancer but have proven to be very effective in treating other cancers. As you'd expect, it was a rough weekend for us. Deb's doing about as well as could be expected. Had a rough night last night but the trooper that she is she's at work. We have doctors appointments on Wed. & Thur.. As many of you know it's been a rough year having lost my older brother to cancer in April, my oldest brother just had his prostate taken out, thankfully the docs gave him an all clear. I don't want people to feel sorry for us I'm just asking for your prayers. When we hear anything else we'll be sure to let you know.

Sorry to here that news Skip. We still think about you guys on a daily basis. I'll be praying those drugs do the trick.

 

You guys have really had it rough. I'm pulling for a miracle. Keep fighting.

 

Deb goes in tomorrow for another round of chemo then again on Thursday. Thanks again for the prayers.
