I came across something on the BMC (Black Mustang Club) saying they have their 3rd annual nationals in Nashville TN Oct 4-7....I don't remember anything being said about it here or at the meeting so if it sounds like something you might like and didn't know about then....well.....now you do :-)

i love the look of the new 05 and up stangs but the only one i have seen that i did not like was oddly a black one .. black just does`nt lend itself to good looking striping packages for me ..

 

and see I always thought that the light metallic green was the worst color for using a stripe package....even shelby seemed to do well with the whole black and gold stripe concept on the Hertz cars but to each his own...there is no right or wrong answer

 

my bad .. i thought the first post was directed towards the 05 and up models .. yes the black and gold hertzs cars and all black boss and cobra jet 69`s look plenty good..

 

I always liked black with red stripes.

 

The 69/70 Kawasaki H1 motorcycle came in charcoal with black lettering.
The colors were so closely matched you had to look close to see the lettering.
Yes, there's a stripe and lettering running down the side of this tank.
I think it would look great on a mustang.
