Yes, I know, but the question was what was the only year a Cobra wasn't available as a convertible. The accepted answer was 1993 - but that's not true as there were no Cobra converts in 1981 and other earlier years as well.

I'll give you guys an easy one. The valve covers on the '03 Mach 1's were not black and the '04's were or was it visa versa?

For the answer to be 1993, the question should be modified to specify "SVT Cobras." In the US, there were Cobra IIs in the Mustang II years and Foxbody Cobras through the early 80's. There were also "Cobras" in Canada through a significant portion of the rest of the Foxbody years, but none were by SVT, so if that specification is made, the answer is clearly 1993... unless you count the year 2000 because the Cobra R was coupe only.
