Oil Prices Continue to Fall
The problem with the auto bail out is with the UAW. These factory workers are overpaid plain and simple. Unions have killed the auto industry causing the denial. The auto bailout is not nearly as bad as the banks are getting and then throwing expencive parties and getting bonuses to celebrate. It is nice to have gas out of the obviousily gouging department. OPEC and all the oil companiens too us to the cleaners and got away with. Curruption without consiquence.

i wont even get into the fact that so many parts and so many cars are not even made in the U.S. any more, we are bailing out the U.S. automakers i think 90% of the cars and parts should have to come from here also. keep "buy American" true to its words
and just because someone has typo's does not mean your better than them!
everyone has their faults, look how these companies let themselves get into this situation. and your pointing to spelling!
but i guess you expect everyone to be perfect.

I agree. If they, the big 3, are going to call them American cars, the parts they are comprised of should be made in America. The United States of America! While there is nothing wrong with factories to the north and south of us, if we are going to build plants in our neighboring countries, the employees should be paid fair wages and environmental standards should be upheld. When the unions were formed, it was for good reason, but a man (pc, person) should be paid based on not only their ability, but their most recent performance and the success of the product in the marketplace that they are making. If you, the factory worker, already got paid to make the product, why should you get paid more than half you regular wage to sit at home and wait on the product to sell? Henry Ford set out to put the world on wheels, but his first product was too expensive for the comman man. He instituted the moving assembly line and managed to manufacture a practical product for the masses, available in any color you wanted as long it was black! kennyg
