Newbie from Indiana

What's up guys just moved to Hunstville from Lafayette, IN. I own a 89 LX w/ 306 H/C/I Turbo setup w/ 33 spline spool. The car will stay in Indiana until I can find a storage down here somewhere. I daily drive a 03 WRX. I don't see much Sti's or WRX's down here but tons of mustangs and camaros. I look forward to meeting some of you guys and hopefully be making some track appearences once the stang gets down here.

Welcome to Huntsville from Flintville Tennessee. Nice FOX! Take that ricer back to Indiana. Rent you a mini-storage unit near your house to park the Stang. kennyg

Good looking rides. If you'd like to see what the club is doing attend our next meeting at West End Cafe on Old Madison Pike the 3rd Tuesday of this month at 7.

Can I have the WRX

There are a few down here, only know of a black one, silver one, blue one, and then a newer hatch in a dark gray.

Welcome to the area! You're going to find people that enjoy every aspect of your cars that you do--Subaru/Mustang, straight line/curves, off-road or on.

Feel free to check out Huntsville Car Scene.com for an idea of all the activities in our area as well as hundreds of thousands of pictures and videos from past events. And be sure to come to a RCMC meeting. These are a great bunch of people.

Thanks for the welcome guys! Just driving around town and checking out the rides I'm sure there is a strong car scene here. And the West End Grill is walking distance from my apartment! I wonder if there is any storage that lets you work on ur car??

There is one storage place in Madison that I know that is more geared towards multi-car storage, but I forgot the name. I've been meaning to check it out myself, but haven't had time.

The other thing you may want to consider is renting some commercial space with a group of friends since almost everything has a for lease sign on it these days. I've considered that route too.

If you work on the Arsenal you might be able to use their facility. I know they allow long term storage for $15 a month.

Sounds awesome but I don't work @ the Arsenal. The rents are coming down memorial day hopefully they'll haul the car down for me. All these highways I think the sway bar will have to come back on!

Oh, if you love the twisties, we have quite a nice array of roads for a Sunday drive. We're in a valley, so there's mountains on almost every side of Huntsville with small winding roads everywhere. Just be careful! We also have really effective police officers.

Yea, the wildlife around here love the cars. Just ask the coyote who smashed his head into the left front of my Boxster. $4500 later it's back to new, but it took a month.
