Just looked at the red '68 Coupe on Jeff Sikes Mazda lot. Manager's Special $14,995. Probably a $3000 car. Excessive orange peel, poorly patched floor pans, rusty frame rails, original "T" code 6 cylinder car converted to V8. Interior looks decent except for wear on steering wheel and aftermarket stereo.

 

Well, that's why its 'special' for the manager!

I've heard they (dealer) have less-than-a-deal "deals". I think I know this car. I saw it sitting in a yard not two miles from the dealership, I believe. He wanted waaaaaay too much and it had all the above stated problems. Probably traded it to them since he couldn't sell it for the 18k he was asking.

In your ad in the Mustang Forums you state that your car needs head gaskets? Did you mean valve cover gaskets? If it needs head gaskets, then it's probably not drivable, right? Did you ever put it on Ebay?

 

yeah, valve cover gaskets....i better change it on there. i havent ever put it on ebay yet, i got slammed with more med bills. ill get to next soon hopefully, i've got another 300$ one then they should all be paid and every one be happy then i put a lot of effort into it.

If you know anyone looking for one, i got on that would be a good project to finish. and mines only 7.5k not 15
