Holy float bowl level, Batman
So I figured out my stumble when I take a curve. I am terrible at setting the float bowl level on the carb. I used to know how to do this. Perhaps it is old age setting in.
So they were high. Evidently instead of not having fuel, some was spilling in and flooding it. I have them set better now.
And my gas mileage went from ~18 to two consecutive tanks of 22MPG.
Whoa...
Now I need to adjust the stumble out of the accelerator pump.

And another tank...
Looks like it is time to throw a lighter spring in the secondaries.
Also, I think I know the issue with my heads.
*growls*
I am shopping. Dangit, I'm gonna miss these ported puppies.

Can't see gettin' any money out of them.
9 years ago SCH worked them.
3-angle and ported out the thermactors.
But two of the seals do not fit and one of the housings is cracked.
And these are the ones that I went 60 miles with no oil pressure.
I think they are junk.
Now, what to do.
Get that set of GT40s for $380 and send them to SCH for a $250 valve job?
Dangerous business with the 86 block.
And I also have a set of SVO B351 roller rockers to throw on.
