I did, but when I can get tires really cheap for 15s I am going with them.

Ex.
225/50R15s - $63+
225/50R17s - $98+

good move! even the cheepies for the cobra are expensive. and the jeeps tires are usually around 350 to 400 every time.

$86+ isn't expensive for the cobra. That is for 275/40ZR17.

Michelins wear down too quickly.
Goodyears don't get good traction.

Getting tires is going to cut my paint money down some But selling the cragars will help regain some.

Nothing wrong with Sumitomo's. Had them on my '01 GT and on my current car. They hook great at the dragstrip.

I had the HTR ZIIs on my pony rims and they hooked good. I really liked them.

I thought you were going 17"s. The Sumitomo 245/45/17 on TireRack are just as inexpensive. (The word cheap implies inferior)

How much for the Cragars?

BTW: Sumitomo is a part of Goodyear as are Falken, Dunlop, Kelly and a few others.

You need a written action plan. You are all over the place. It is a wonder you can keep up with what you are doing or what you have ordered. Do you have any idea what your total costs have been so far?

Ok I just calculated everything. So far I have spent $1415.05 since September, which is when I started redoing the mustang.

I still have to buy new weatherstripping for the doors, paint, leaf springs, steering kit, tires, and then I can focus on performance parts.
