Assembly Line Tags, ID's, Buildsheets

If you have ever found a QC tag or card, buildsheet or special markings on your Mustang post them here.

I was restoring the dash in a '67 earlier this year and found this tag behind the heater control attached to the underdash wiring harness. It reads 'In Plant OK'. kennyg

Here is what is left of my build sheet I found behind my cluster taped to the wiring. Some of the pieces fit together, but it was falling apart on me so I covered it before I lined them up.

From my 1970 Boss 302 - Paint OK on bottom of hood, serial number stamping on top of block and on top of toploader trans, toploader ID tag and marking - all numbers match - i.e., serial number on engine and trans match VIN on car:

I remember when chemical stripping the radiator support on my 65 there were crayon markings on the battery side with the color code and interior code. I guess this was to notate as it was going down the line so they didn't have to read the small print on the sheets.

This reminds me that my 200 still had the tag on it by the coil.

Anyone have a guess as to what these markings mean? They are under the hood of my '67.

In my archives (stuff filling file drawers) I have a QC card that was found under the carpet of a '69 coupe. On the card was a line drawing of a car with marks made that showed 'damage' to the roof. The Mustang had a trimmer shop vinyl top. I've heard of Mustangs that had made it a long way along the assembly line then were pulled off and sent to an independent trimmer shop for a non factory vinyl roof, then resumed assembly after that. kennyg

I know its not a Mustang. But its a Ford.

I found this under the carpet just behind my driver's seat in my 1996 Bronco.
