I know it has different suspension but does anyone know whether the Bullitt sits lower than a standard Mustang GT?

It's supposed to sit about 1/2" lower. They say 6mm. Not a real big difference.

6mm is only 1/4" inch. I'll have to "retune" the Bullitt suspension like KR is going to do or take a closer look at the 08 SGT that has been trying to seduce me.

Even though it isn't as low, it still has been making faster laps than the SGT... I don't think that lower is always better to be honest...

Well lowering it will make it look cooler. But I have to wonder how it compromises ride quality? It doesn't matter if you're only using this for cruising on the weekend- but if you're using it for a daily driver it might not be the best thing to do.

I agree with you on the handling. I just don't like the appearance. My 05 is lowered about 1" and I prefer the way it looks.

I had the Eibach springs sitting here in the box waiting for my 06GTto be delivered, I have had two years to enjoy the 06 with that set-up, the car LOOKS right, handles good...and to be honest with you I dont mind the ride at all. That is why I say the Bullitt will get the same treatment the week it hits the driveway...its 'cause I am so used to the look of the car sitting much lower.
Its all good!

I will know just how good the 2008 handles around the curves the day after it is delivered. We have a old Ozark mountain road that is used to play on. 16 miles of double yellow with great elevation changes. I know how good the 2001 Bullitt handled this road.Time will tell.

Nice, nice, that sounds like fun! I remember the Ozarks well, those must be great roads to play on!

You're right. I had to replace the struts and shocks with the springs on my 05 to get the combination of ride height, ride quality and handling that I was happy with.

Hehe, at least they're not using the pictures the earlier auctions used with the wrong steering wheel and tachometer from the pre-pre-production pix.
