The Mustang at least has stayed in production all these years and kept the interest alive. So at least there was a Mustang to be had every year for the past 43 years!

I'm not saying they weren't true Mustangs. I'm just saying they never did anything for me and I never had any interest in owning one. I was also always a fastback man, the coupe's never really caught my eye- but oddly enough I don't mind the coupe's from 71-73. 71-73 seems to be viewed kind of like the "jump the shark" moment for the early Mustang.
Bigger and heavier. But despite that they did have some nice models. Like the Mach 1 in Diamonds are Forever that Hollywood North GT mentioned.

I see Close but no cigar as nice but would have made a few changes. I see missed the target as those people wanted the specific things mentioned in the posts, not as clear failure such as the end of the Toyota Celica.

What authotity in point of fact?

Those who are dissatisfied maintain a healthy lead over those who think Ford "hit the bulls eye." I suspect this trend will continue.
Glad to hear you are so happy with your FORD Mustang GT. Since it is a limited production Bullitt there will be one more for someone who really wants one
