Not needed. It won't go any faster than a stock GT because IFAIK Ford doesn't raise the electronic speed limiter with it's supplied tune. Weight is basically the same, so larger brakes aren't needed. Assuming that one considers the stock GT brakes adequate.

Quicker but not faster.

I wouldn't get to bent out of shape until Ford has has an official press release. An entry in concepts for something you can not order yet doesn't mean a whole lot.

I'm assuming the earlier info about it having 310hp is true.

If so, it's a great bargain compared to the Shelby GT. Bullitt = $189.5 for each hp over 300, SGT = $441.5 for each hp over 300.

There, that should cheer y'all up.
The SGT has suspension upgrades as well. This is nothing more than a green CS.

It is not a green CS. It may use the same front bumper that's about it. (so does the Shelby GT) No side scoops, no rear spoiler. No horse or fog lamps in grill. Different interior. Plus probably these other specs.
FR Power Pack Estimated 310 - 312HP
Shock/Strut Tuning
Strut Tower Brace
Upgraded Steering System
3:73 Axle Ratio
X-Pipe Exhaust w/Bright Exhaust Tips
Unique Sport Seating
Unique Sill Plate
Bright Metal Trim & Unique Shifter
Available In Highland Green Or Black
Unique Grill V6 Style (w/o Fog Lamps)
Rear Faux Gas Cap w/Bullitt Logo
Cap Surround Painted Charcoal Gray
18″ Bullitt Style Wheel
Red Brake Calipers
This is all leaked or rumored specs but I'm sure it won't be just a green CS. In any event, we'll see it at the LA auto show.
