I agree.

When I saw the first spy photo, I thought it was going to be great.
But now that I've seen the entire deal, the only thing I can say is:

Obviously if this syling makes it at all to production its going to be dumbed down, so don't worry too much And even though the car is designed by Giugiaro, doesn't design perfect cars, and I think the back and front can be improved ...a little

I hope thrust doesn't mind. I messed with his rear view to lengthen the tailights to look like I think they ought to. There is no reason to mess with what we already know looks good on a Mustang back there...

I took similar liberties with thrust's front view...
I cleaned it up a bit (sorry for the hurried clone brush work). Got rid of the chrome grille ring, took the corners off of the headlights, and reworked the lower air dam to look more like a 68 shelby (where the lower opening is consistent with the upper).

Ed, I'm thinking it's Houston. I don't know of any other that goes by H-town.

I love that roof and I think the new stang will look great once it's been worked over a little.

I was just thinking that in this view,

The front end looks the best. I wondering if that's becuase the dramatic downslope above the "browline" is much less noticable. With a less dramatic slope you get a much more muscular look from the same front facia.

And don't poo poo the chrome too much, more than a few people wish the current stang had some!

What's up with the tiny mirrors? The look out of proportion with the rest of the car. Some of the details on the concept are really nice, and would be neat if they made it to a production car.

Here's my rendition, I know my photoshop skills need some work. Tried to shorten the front end by a few inches, it just seems too long. Also made the grille and headlights a bit larger, raised and widened the cowl.

It looks pretty good. Don't care for the interior upholstery choice, though. I hope the design cues from the rest of the interior make it to the next-gen model.

The front is nice.
The interior...thank god it's just a concept.
If they fixed the tail lights then it'd be a winner in my eyes.

Most awsome car indeed

Well I just found this thread, read all the way to the end. I think most of would agree the front end , with some various minor tweeks, is pretty awsome. I think it has a mean, muscular look, the headlights remind me of the last model 01's. But they headlight buckets do need ot be more rounded following the round headlights. The angle slice there is too much like a Beamer. And I agree there is a lot of Ero , BMW influnce, but definitely refined.

I would have to say when Ford does get ready for changes or a refresh, they would have to take a close look at this car and incorporate some of the elements. And as many have said, this is just a concept, anything that makes it to production would be mild in comparison. I think the hips are pretty cool, I would love to see something along thoses lines in a future Mustang.

And as for "Automotive Pornography" , the curves and bulges in this car bring one picture to mind. Jessica Simpson in a Bikini as in Dukes of Hazzard. Now Jessica in a bikini sitting in this car would be sensory overload!!!

The more I look at it the more at it, the shape of the car from the windshield forward reminds me of the '71-'73s.

Also, it looks great from some angles and bad from others. If I compare the original 2005 Mustang concept to the Guigiaro concept, I think I like the original concept more. The original concept seems much more trim and cleaner.
When they facelift the S197, I hope they make it look more like the original concept...

The front end looks alot like the 06 Charger to me... still nice though

Over all, love the car.
