Silver seat inserts on Shelby GT

I think if Shelby Autos takes a que from Roush and uses seat inserts, it would really dress up the interior. How does everyone else feel about it?
Since there are only two exterior color options, both with silver stripes, it would be easy to offer silver colored seat inserts in all models (wouldn't have to offer a variety of colors). That way the car's interior looks special, like it should!
Also, in my humble opinion, the supercharger is a MUST!! Without it, the car has some nice visual upgrades but is really no better than a stock GT. Anybody can mod a car aftermarket. What would set the Shelby GT apart would be to come from Shelby Autos w/the supercharger.

I think that would be a fantastic idea. I really love inserts and plan on getting new seat covers in black, with blue inserts in the spring for my car. Really sets off the interior like you said. I just saw a Roush Vert with the black and blue seats, and loved it. I would get their seat kit, but from what I could find, they don't offer them with side airbag compatability.

Nice, car 05fordgt. Do you have other pics? I love the ducktail instead of a wing spoiler. You have the side stripe too, it looks like. Any wording in it? Looks great!

Thanks for the compliment wildcat. Yep, I have the side stripes. They are from Graphics Express in Florida. No words on them, only the 3 horizontal stripes. They call them GT Racing stripes. I call them Heritage stripes. Didn't want any of the "GTXXX" numbers on the side. Figured this would make my car different. If you can PM me your email address, I'll send you a few more pics. Thanks again for the compliment.

Dark Charcoal / Silver is probably the best looking combination. It would certainly improve its appeal. The down side might be the cost. But it can always be offered as an option.

I agree completely. One of the best things Ford has done with the Mustang is the seat inserts providing the two-tone interior that screams 60's stangs. I won't buy a car without the two-tone inserts...I just wish there were more color combinations offered.

My Mach 1 has silver inserts in the seats it makes the interior, I just wished they had offered silver Mach 1 stripes or white side stripes on my black car... black stripes on a black car are hard to see. Randy

Silver would be great! It'd be the perfect touch to set the car off. As Randy suggested, we should make our voices heard.

Randy, you have to have set a record for lurking. You joined in 2004, and have only 4 posts? Don't be bashful, we're all Mustang nuts here! Hi, I'm Jim.
