Perhaps modifying the GTCS with FRPP for those who can't wait. Both Shelby and FoMoCo need to review the monster they are creating. Or, the next question, do they care? I wonder what AmyB thinks about this?

Yep, we care, but there is nothing we can do. I am contracted to sell thru ford. and on a side note, if you think that the Bullit or any other hot car will not have an Adm, then your not being realistic.

When the chargers came out, they did, this has happened for years, go to the camaro boards and see what they are predicting. It's supply and demand. Sorry, I wish there was an answer to this

As I read the comments about the dealers gouging the customers, and hear about quality control on the Shelby GTs, I wonder what Amy and others will be saying one year from now?

Amy is right, it's all a case of supply and demand. But when the demand for the Shelby GT drops, the supply left will be a bloodbath in dollars and customers lost for the dealer, For FoMoCo, and for the owners who paid ADM. So sad!

I'm hopeful that dealer's experience with the SGT will reduce this insanity. I got an MSRP deal so it is "realistic' and I'm not the only one.

If you track ebay, like I have been doing for almost two months, you will see ADM is not working and cars are not selling. The majority go for a low to VERY low ADM, while one went for a crazy ADM of $12K but who knows if the sale ever went through.

I hope dealers look at this and remember that the number of SGTs that will be produced is far less than the number that could have been produced. The incremental revenue of ADM I can't see ever making up the adverse impact on what could have been an increase in the dealerships true run-rate business. Add to this the dealer/salesperson confusion and lost sales due to poor education and training, even lacking the basic down-sell/cross-sell skills you would expect, I hope is a lesson learned.

Keep this up and the day will come when car dealerships go the way of computer stores in our lifetime.
