As I stated FACTORY installed. The standard GT500 does not go to the Shelby Factory. That would be like saying Roush and Saleen aren't factory SC'd.

they are not. They leave the Ford factory without superchargers and then the blowers are installed AFTERMARKET.. *NOT* by Ford... installed by Roush, Saleen, Shelby. There is no such thing as Factory equipped supercharged GT Mustang. Its all done after they leave the factory

 

Not trying to get into a pissing match here dude, Shelby, Saleen and Roush all have there own factorys. Take it for what its worth. Obviously not much in your opinion. But you could always take it up with Shelby, Saleen and Roush and their legal department for the misrepresentation of the products they sell.

Obviously you are misunderstanding what 'factory equipped' means. Let me explain it to you. Ford makes cars. Shelby, Roush, Saleen does not. They are aftermarket tuners. They are in the business of modifying existing automobiles. (except for a few instances like the S7) Ford builds the car and ships it to others to modify. When someone say a factory built car, they do not mean *if* the car was built at a factory, it means as equipped from the original manufacturing factory. ie.. Ford. so.... from now on when someone says factory equipped, they mean from FORD.

 

Your entitled to your interpretation, but if this is the case then a Ford GT, Boss 429, amongst others are nothing more than *modified* Ford products by others. I'd list a few more, but since you're so knowledgeable on the subject, you're probably already aware of them.
