Hey Mark, I would bust your stones about changing your order but it would only be in good fun
. I am glad to see they made this (you must have talked them into it). It looks awesome, seriously awesome. I just saw one of these (black and silver ) on Sunday and this color combo looks fantastic. Honestly as long as your not going to do your self financial harm and face the repo man, who gives a **** if you are spending 3k+ extra just because it says Shelby on it. 1. It's your money and 2. it's a REAL shelby, and like Jeff said thats more then enough for me. What I have a problem with is the dealers ADM, I could care less if Ford or Shelby makes more money off of me, because I am paying them for the quality and heritage of the car. Kudo's to you sir, we only get one go around on this track better to live it with no regrets

As of 2:32pm Eastern Time today, I have a Vehicle Order Confirmation on a 2008 Shelby GT Coupe. 
I ordered a manual GT coupe with dark charcoal interior, IUP (charcoal), active anti-theft, and wheel locks. I decided to forgo the HIDs and the ambient lighting on this order.
That was faster than I thought it would be. Only 12 days after I cancelled my 08 Mustang GT order.
Moving this thread to the SGT forum.

Got Serialized today....again. Left the number at work, but I think the last 6 digits were 114 thousand something. That's just 7000 behind my cancelled 08 Mustang GT order. I'd probably be driving that Silver Metallic GT by now.

Kimnach Ford is where we ordered my wife's GT/CS. John Clark was our salesman. They were the third and last dealership that we tried to deal with. It was a very easy experience. They put up withmy wife changing her mind several times on what she want in her Mustang. John even ordered one the way she initially thought that she wanted it even though we didn't have have any kind of deal.
When we finally did order the GT/CS it went very smoothly and John handled the delivery by asking me every step of the way what I wanted done to the car such as front plate holder location, no dealer sticker, etc.

Update from my dealer:
hey Mark
just got this off the computer. your car is sch. to be here on 8-12. so it will be built end of this week or first of next week. of course the car has to go to SAI and they arent going to start the 08s until sept, but your car should be one the of the first cars out there.
