Don't know what I'm going to do, we just got an 07 Murano for the wife 3 weeks ago and I bought a 2006 Lincoln LS last summer (to replace my 03 LS), so getting a new Mustang a bit hard to justify right now.

Since Ford is having a horrible sales month for April, I'll wait and see what incentives get put on the leftover 07 Stangs. Of course finding one with 53B could be a problem.

It won't take long to start the mods. I met Tucker (as in JLT CAI Tucker) at a get together about a month ago and he indicated that he's going to get back into the painting business. That's where he got his start before he got into the performance side. His offices are about 10 miles from me.

Painted stripes will be one of my first mods (along with ram air hood, and wheels). Hood was suppose to get here today. Maybe tomorrow.

Just because I could, I called the Evil Robot Lady tonight for the first time. I'm "Clean and Unscheduled". Well at least I'm in the system.

 

Got my priority changed from 20 to 10 today and also got my new hood.

 

Can we see a pic of the unfinished hood?

 

This isn't mine (who knows maybe it is), but mine looks just like this. I unpacked it, inspected it and then wrapped it back up.

If there is some angle that you really want to see that these pix don't capture, let me know, and I will unpack it again.

 

Looks like a carbon copy of the Roush hood scoop all in one piece. Is it functional?

Yes. The air is routed from the intake to the area where the airfilter sits on the driver side in front of the shock tower.

I was hoping someone would make a hood like this and now I've got one.

 

Sweet ride! I love the hood! Is August still your projected delivery time frame? I talked to my AAFES dealer today and they didn't know if they could guarantee an October delivery date for me. They weren't sure when delivery of 08's would start. That would be real bad getting back to the states with no car.

 

Just a guestimate. They start producing 08s on 25 June, so I'm guessing the 1st ones will show up at the dealerships 4 weeks later, and I'm hoping I'll be in the first batch.
